Camp NaNo, Camp NaNoWriMo, NaNo, NaNoWriMo, Writing, Writing Goals
I have to say one of the best feelings in the world is when you meet a goal you’ve been working on for awhile. Whether it’s weight loss, quitting smoking, saving up for a new laptop, or writing 15K words in 30 days or less.
I always feel a bit of relief when I achieve my goals. Like I can finally relax for a little while because all my hard work has been done, and I can take a breather before moving on to the next big thing.
Today I validated my NaNo novel. Like, maybe five minutes ago.
And it feels good.
There are few things that feel so good as achieving your goals. So if you are on the fence, unsure whether to continue striving toward your NaNo goal, or whether to just give up, stick with it, give it another chance. You really do want this!

NanoWrimo teaches us a lot more than to just write, doesn’t it? You nailed it anyway, it is all about achieving your goal and never giving up!
By the way, glad I found another lover of literary fiction, it doesn’t seem to be the most popular and yet I can’t live without it!!

I agree, literary fiction is passed over these days, isn’t it? It’s definitely my go to genre for 90% of my reading though! Glad you’ve stopped by!

I hope it hasn’t passed that much as I’m currently writing my first novel and its literary fiction 😀

Oh I think there are enough readers to keep it in business–but it does feel like it’s the minority who read it! Don’t change your writing! 😉

I won’t 🙂 It’s who I am and I’m sure the passion will come across.
